God enlarged Rahab’s heart to ask and believe in the salvation of her family. May God enlarge our hearts to ask and believe and fight for our loved ones!

Jesus taught about overcoming the strongholds of the enemy in Luke 11:20-22: “But if I cast out demons with the finger of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace. But when a stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armor in which he trusted, and divides his spoils.”

By His Name and Blood, Jesus has given us authority over Satan’s power in the earth. We read in Luke 10:19: “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

Just as Rahab let down a “scarlet thread” so must we claim the salvation and deliverance of our families by the Blood of Jesus. The Blood of Jesus is God’s covenant commitment to us for our and our families’ salvation. Also, in Revelation 12:11 we read: “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”

The Joshua Generation is believers who are taking their families for God. They are rebuking and binding Satan’s power over their families. And their confession is the same as Joshua’s: “And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15)
