divination (python): The word divination in the Greek is PYTHON. The PYTHON snake kills its prey by an AMBUSH where it suddenly strikes out to BITE with its teeth to CONTROL their prey while simultaneously wrapping around it squeezing tighter as the victim exhales. They kill by suffocation or heart attack and then swallow their prey whole. This oppressive spirit was not only controlling this woman but was also a demonic STRONGHOLD over the city of Phillippi.
2 Corinthians 10:3-5
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

The python spirit (divination):
a. squeezes the life, breath, joy, strength, faith, vision, hope out of people
b. seeks to SILENCE the voice, prayers, and praise of believers
c. causes depression, anxiety, fear, and hopelessness
d. empowers demonic declarations about the future
e. people who have greed often make a partnership with python
The entirety of the rage, riot, and unrighteousness that erupted in Phillippi was due to the enemy’s anger over losing his python grip of divination.

g. the python spirit demands agreement and conformity to its beliefs and behavior
