The service was about to end. As I quietly prayed, asking the Lord if there was anything else to be done before I sent the people home, I suddenly knew I was to pray for a couple in the service who were elders of the church. I called them forward and I could feel the fire of God coming upon me. I began to prophesy to them about a loved one, a relative of theirs, being in grave danger, and that God was supernaturally delivering that person right at that moment. I touched them both and felt the power of God flowing into them. Not knowing what exactly had taken place, I just trusted the Lord that His will was released.
Two days later this couple called me and told me a most amazing story. It seems that a young niece of theirs was involved in a bad drug transaction in Southern California. The men had tied her up and were going to kill her. At exactly 12:30 on Sunday, she suddenly had a chance to escape, and did so. She came to Arizona to hide and told her story to the couple I had prayed for. At the exact moment God was speaking about her in Arizona, God was delivering her from death in California. She herself heard the tape of God’s Spirit speaking about her, and she wept. JUST ONE WORD saved her life and brought about a great deliverance.
