“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them (Matthew 7:15-20).

Everything in our lives begins with a thought. An angry man is made of angry thoughts. A lustful woman is full of lust-filled thoughts. A peaceful child is full of peaceful thoughts. To change the sinful, cursed behavior, we have to get the anger out, heal the tree and then we will have healthy fruit. It’s important to look at the process our hearts and lives go through to become polluted:

1) A sinful thought enters the mind.

2) The sinful thought is allowed to stay in the mind.

3) The sinful thought becomes a meditation.

4) The meditation lodges the sinful thought into our unhealed souls.

5) The sinful thought infects our emotions and cycles back into our thoughts again.

6) Eventually, we act on the thought=sin manifested.

To change our hearts and heal the tree, we begin by putting the word of God into our hearts and repenting to Him. The mixture of the Word of God and repentance breaks the curse over us, and destroys the grip of sin. When we pour in the word of God, unpolluted and life-giving, the bad water is flushed out. When we ask God to forgive our sinful actions, He does and the cycle is broken. We can walk new in Him.

Once we have done this with one negative thought action, we can repeat it over and over again, renewing all the ares of our mind.
