Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” (John 14:9-14)

The church must contend in faith to manifest the same authority Jesus did when He walked the earth. We must demand that miracles, signs and wonders be present in our day. We cannot settle for anything less than “much fruit.” The will of God for our life is that we are massively productive, fruitful and prosperous.

“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.” (John 15:7-8) If we abide in Jesus, we will bear much fruit. How do we abide in Him? When we are filled with the Spirit, worshiping God, staying with Him by praying, drinking His word every day, and meditating on the word day and night, we will remain by His side.

Here’s the promise: as we abide in Jesus, and bear fruit and His words reside in our souls, our desires will be purified, we will pray His will and we will see our prayers answered. There will come a time when we know His heart and carry His presence, that we won’t have to ask Him if something is His will; we will know it. This will allow us to unleash creative, miraculous works into this world that haven’t been seen before.
