Cain and Able gave gifts. Without the element of faith in your worship, your work and your service is just a religious activity. Faith says that God is present in all that we do. We are not just singing or talking or working. We are expressing our belief in him by what we do with what he has given to us. We are doing it for him. Your faith will not end with your life.Â
One day, while praying in our current sanctuary, I had a vision. In the vision, an elderly woman was on her knees, in the corner, praying. She was saying over and over, “Lord I know that you are not done with this building.” I watched her and the Lord said to me, “Son, many of the things that are happening today are a product of the things that were prayed for and believed for years ago.” You may not see everything your kids becoming who they are meant to be just yet, but don’t let your faith die when you die. Your faith will live past your life. Keep your faith at work by prayer.Â
