Creation: Framing Our World with God’s Word

By faith we understand how things were created. We don’t believe in evolution—we don’t have faith in evolution—because we believe that God made it all. Astronomers have found, as they studied radioactive waves coming across the universe, that the universe had a beginning. There was nothing at one moment and then there was everything. “Astrophysicist Robert Jastrow, a self-described agnostic, stated, ‘The seed of everything that has happened in the Universe was planted in that first instant; every star, every planet and every living creature in the Universe came into being as a result of events that were set in motion in the moment of the cosmic explosion. It was literally the moment of Creation. …The Universe flashed into being, and we cannot find out what caused that to happen.’ As stated, this conclusion is distressing to atheistic scientists. To observe a reaction and not be able to document the cause is unsettling.”

Its hard to not believe in God when you can trace time back to a point when there was nothing. There was no time, space and mater. And then, in a blink of an eye, in the snap of a finger, everything happened. We call it “In the beginning…”.

Here’s the point: God framed the worlds by his words and his faith. God has faith. He believes that his words are true. He doesn’t wrestle with unbelief. You and are I called to not be limited, to not be governed, to not be controlled, to not be defined or confined, by things that are not in our control, from things happening around us.

Your faith in God’s word will frame your world. If you don’t like how things are, don’t act like they can’t change. Use God’s word and your faith and reframe, heal, restore, set things in order in your life. Your faith in God’s word will reframe your world. We change the world by faith. Your faith can change the world.
