Long ago, God bound Himself to the principle of prayer in the earth. God will not do anything in the earth, except in response to the prayers of His children.
And here is the heartbeat to prayer.
God has placed prayer at the very center of His involvement and activity. God emphasizes this point when He said, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)
WE have this promise ever before us: if we as Christians will pray, God will respond by touching our nation.
The Joshua Generation is a mighty prayer army releasing God’s power to its families, cities and nations.
There is a spirit of war in the Joshua Generation because God has declared war on His enemies.
God wants us to ask Him for the nations of the earth in this hour.
“Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession.” (Psalm 2:8)
He is giving men and women all around the world a “city-taking spirit” in this time.
For the first time in the history of the church, God has birthed this “city-taking spirit” in the hearts of literally thousands of His children. Why? Because He wants to invade our cities and nations with His love and life.
The word “possession” from Psalm 2:8 means “something seized.” Satan and his army will not just let go of cities and nations because we want him to. He must be driven out by the power of God displayed through the Church.
In this hour the praying church will display God’s power in the earth — “now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 3:10)
God is waiting on us. He is ready to reap the nations in a worldwide revival. He waits for us to see this and run to the place of prayer. The destiny of the entire world is in our hands.
Let us seize the moment and see God’s glory!
