HIS CARE FOR US

Our lives are miracles. We have no idea how much Jesus has watched over us. We only know a small portion of what He has done. The devil has tried thousands of times to destroy our minds, our relationships, our jobs —but Jesus was there as the Good Shepherd, keeping the wolves and foxes and coyotes out of our lives.

We serve a God who is jealous about us. This is good news. You’re loving God identifies with us. He takes care of our lives. He directs our lives. He’s watching over us. The Lord will take care of us. We need to let go of worry: we have someone watching over us.

  • He knows the next pasture for our lives.
  • He knows the next pathway He wants to lead us on.
  • He knows the next season.
  • He knows how to get us there.
  • He loves us.  He cares for us.

Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (Hebrews 13:20)

When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly. “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” For “you were like sheep going astray,” but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls. (1 Peter 2:23-25)

We were lost until He found us. Once found, we learn the ways of our Shepherd. We learn about His instincts. We learn to follow His voice. His leading is always for our good. It’s still for His kingdom purpose. It’s always to bless others through our lives.
