In Habakkuk 2:2-3 the Word of God tells us to “write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

Here the Lord tells us to write the vision. Write it so others can read it and run. Several years ago God spoke to me and said, “This day I give you the city.” After the Lord spoke that to me, I shared it with our congregation of about ninety people. We then made a large banner and put it up on a wall in our sanctuary.

Vision is like a seed. If you plant it in your heart and water it with the Word of God in agreement, it will come to pass. Though it takes time, it will come to pass if you will not quit.

In 2 Corinthians 3:17-18 God’s Word tells us that “the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

This scripture tells us that the image you see is the reality you will be. God’s Word will transform you into the image of Christ as you receive and believe the precious promises it offers you. Remember:

WHATEVER YOU CAN SEE YOU CAN BE!

WHATEVER YOU CAN SEE YOU CAN ACHIEVE!

WHATEVER YOU CAN SEE YOU CAN BELIEVE!

The first step to your possessing your promised land is for you to allow the Holy Spirit to birth in you godly vision. That vision then becomes the blueprint of God’s design in your life.
