A godly vision destroys the limitations that the world, the flesh and the devil have used to hold you down.Â
An ungodly vision keeps you in a circle of failure and fear.Â
âWhere there is no revelation, the people perish; but happy is he who keeps the law.â (Proverbs 29:18)
We find that in the New Covenant, the Holy Spirit leads and guides the Church through visions, dreams and prophecy. âBut this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: âAnd it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy.ââ (Acts 2:16-18)
Through revelation, God guides the Church. We are to be people flooded with godly visions, dreams and prophecy. This is how God speaks and leads us in this hour. Godly vision is so essential that if you donât change your vision from fear to faith, from failure to victory, God is limited and cut off by your unbelieving sight and He wonât do much for you.Â
This is not because He doesnât love you, but because He only responds to faith.Â
If you take a person with an inward vision of failure and give them one million dollars in cash, it is painfully true that they will very likely lose all the money. This is because eventually, that vision of failure will produce in their physical circumstances.Â
Fear is the result of a vision of failure.Â
Fear is the enemy of God and all mankind.Â
However, if you take that same man and woman and change his or her vision from fear to faith, and from failure to victory, and if you take everything they own away from them, then eventually they will get it all back and more. The inward vision of victory and success will eventually produce an outward manifestation of it.
