Authority and humility

Kings have authority, priests have humility. They work together. The more you are submitted to God, the more authority he can give you. The more authority you function with, the more authority he can give you. “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10:19) 

We are called to turn the world upside down for Christ. “But when they did not find them, they dragged Jason and some brethren to the rulers of the city, crying out, ‘These who have turned the world upside down have come here too.’” (Acts 17:6)We are called to drive the devil from the lives of those around us. We are called to transform cities from inside their walls. Let’s get to it. 

God is calling for the church to wake up. The devil isn’t winning and too many are wondering what we are going to do about it. We are going to win. We are going to overcome. Through the authority and the humility that God gives us. We will win.
